Shot in the private underwater studio at Caves Beach or on location in the open ocean, each session is unhurried, intuitive and deeply personal. You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to perform. You only need to arrive.

What you leave with is something most people never have — an image of themselves that feels true. Not curated. Not filtered. True.

The experience

Every session begins with a conversation — about how you want to feel, what you want to remember, what you've never quite seen in a photograph of yourself before. From there, Hilda guides everything. The light, the movement, the moment. Your only job is to breathe.

Sessions are available as intimate private experiences for individuals, or as collaborative editorial projects for artists and creatives with a vision to realise underwater.

Fine art prints are available in limited editions, hand-finished and produced to museum archival standard — made to be lived with, not stored away.

Most photos are taken. These ones are lived.
